- We remove all debris and dirt from the asphalt with power blowers, scraper and brushes. All dirty areas must be thoroughly cleaned to allow the sealcoat to adhere properly.
- We then treat all fresh oil stains, by treating the stain(s) with SealMaster Prep Seal Oil Spot Primer.
- Any cracks (1/4” or larger) will be filled in with SealMaster CrackMaster Supreme crack sealant.
- We then apply SealMaster Coal Tar Sealer by a pressurized spray application.
Sealcoating should only be performed under the proper weather conditions. Both surface and ambient temperature should be a minimum of 50 Degrees Farenheit and should not drop below for 24 hours following the application.
Traffic should be kept off a newly sealed surface for 24 hours to allow the surface to dry and cure properly. It is important not to turn sprinklers on or hosing off the sealed area for at least 48 hours following application to allow the underneath surface to cure.
